[Strain your ears for the video interview w/ folk-woods troop: THE DEEP DARK WOODS]

Tall as trees, they stood in family portrait fashion; while around them, a noisy whirlwind set-up took place at La Sala Rossa.  Friendly neighbors, DEEP DARK WOODS, are all but morose, morbid and monstrous. There is a candid camaraderie of five guys with an ease for honest, under the radar, humor. And though their song is dark, deep and wide, counting the seconds of long Winter Hours; meeting the quintet is curiously a jamboree to the winter solstice. (We’re just sorry we couldn’t find a quiet room to sit in to do the interview…Better luck next time.)
